Link Customizations (external-only features)
Since content is shared as a link, you have these customization options:
General
Adjust settings like download permissions and more. Depending on how you're sharing the content, click More or Customize Link to access the General tab:
Security
Restrict who can view content or ask recipient to enter their email to view the content. Depending on how you're sharing the content, click More or Customize Link to access the Security tab. In the dropdown select from the following:
- Allow anyone with the link to view the asset
- This is selected as the default - anyone who gets access to the link can click the link to view the content
- Restrict Who Can View the Asset
- You'll be prompted to enter the emails or email domains that can view the content
- When recipients click the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email address
- If their email matches an authorized email or domain, they'll receive a one-time password (OTP) to view the content
- Ask Recipient to Enter in their Email to View the Asset
- You'll be prompted to select either with OTP or without OTP
- With OTP: When recipients click the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email address. If their email matches an authorized email or domain, they'll receive a one-time password (OTP) to view the content
- Without OTP: When recipients click the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email address and immediately view the content

Editing & Disabling Links
If you've already shared the content, you can still update the link's general or security customizations. You can also disable the link to revoke access. Do this from Content Insight > Links tab:
Default Settings (admin)
When you customize a link—whether general or security customizations—those changes apply to the link you're about to share. Admins can update the content's Default Settings so that every time the content gets shared going forward, the link will automatically reflect those customizations (e.g. every time this content gets shared it's downloadable):
Updating the content's Default Settings only applies to shares going forward—previously shared links are not affected. To update previously shared links, you will need to edit the links individually.
