Link Settings

All content in Enablix is shared as a link. Before or after sharing, you can customize settings like download permissions, access restrictions, and more.

Secured Sharing & Link Gating

To access security settings, click More or Customize Link depending on how you're sharing, then switch to the Security tab. Options include:

• Allow Anyone with the Link to View the Asset — Default setting; no restrictions applied
• Restrict Who Can View the Asset — Limit access to specific emails or email domains; recipients must enter and verify their email before viewing
• Recipient to Enter Their Email to View the Asset — Recipients enter their email to access content, with the option to allow immediate access or require email verification

Testing a secured link and it's not working? If you're logged into Enablix, the system already recognizes you and bypasses the verification step. To test the full recipient experience, sign out or open an incognito window.

General Customizations

Click More or Customize Link to access the following options:

• Allow Download — Controls whether recipients can download the file
• Share Using — If sharing via a template, sequence, or marketing email, select the platform you're sharing from to automatically capture who's viewing the content
• Link Title — The content title visible to recipients; update it here if needed
• Link Name — Used to identify where a link was used (e.g., "LinkedIn Post - [date]")
• On Click — Controls whether a file opens in a web view or downloads automatically
• Send Notification — Sends an email notification to whoever shared the content when it's viewed; if bulk sharing (e.g., in a marketing email), we recommend unchecking this
• Do Not Track — Disables activity tracking; not recommended

Editing & Disabling Links

You can edit or disable a shared link at any time from any of the following:

• Open the content and click Content Insights > Links
• Go to My Stuff > My Links
• Go to Insights > Engagement > Links (Admin, Approved Contributor, and Insights Users only)

Most users can only edit or disable links they've shared. Admins, Approved Contributors, and Insights Users can edit or disable any link, regardless of who shared it.

Default Settings

Admin and Approved Contributor only

Users can customize links at the time of sharing. Admins and Approved Contributors can also set defaults at the content level and restrict users from making further customizations on that content.
