What is CX?
Enablix's solution for external audiences. Extend your content library to customers, partners, and other stakeholders. External users — referred to as CX Users — access content through a portal called the CX Portal, separate from your internal Enablix portal.
CX Accounts & Users
Every CX User must belong to a CX Account. From the CX Accounts section in the left-hand navigation, you can manage accounts, users, and segments.
- From CX Accounts > CX Accounts and CX Users tab: Add, modify, or delete CX Accounts and CX Users
- Assign account and user attributes if applicable for segmentation and reporting
- From CX Accounts > CX Account and CX User Segment tabs: Create segments to control which CX Portal a user accesses (if multiple) and which content is available to them
📌 Managing CX Accounts and CX Users: Depending on your setup, accounts and users may be added and managed manually, allowed to self-register, or automatically synced with a database.
📌 Managing CX Account and CX User Attributes: Adding or updating attributes is handled on the backend — contact your Customer Success Manager or help@enablix.com to make changes.
CX Content
Content is first added to Enablix, then made available to CX Users through each content item's CX Portal Settings. Open any content item and navigate to CX Portal Settings to:
- Share or unshare the content to the CX Portal
- Restrict access by CX Account, individual user, or segment
- Control download settings and homepage placement
To manage or audit content in bulk, navigate to CX Content Manager in the left-hand navigation — where you can view, filter, and update up to 50 content items at a time.
CX Portals
A CX Portal is the homepage experience for your CX Users — controlling the header, navigation, and side panels. You can have one CX Portal or multiple, depending on your setup. Navigate to CX Portals in the left-hand navigation to manage your portals. From here you can:
- Add, edit, or delete CX Portals
- Use the CX Portal Builder to customize each portal's appearance and sections
- Assign portals to specific CX Users or segments if you have more than one
📌 Accessing the CX Portal: Depending on your setup, CX Users may access their portal via a custom domain or embedded within your company app, and can log in via SSO, email and password, or one-time password (OTP).
CX Insights
Navigate to CX Insights in the left-hand navigation to track how CX Users are engaging with their portal. From here you can view and filter activity across all CX Users and accounts — including login frequency, search activity, and content views.
