Depending on how you're sharing the content, click More or Customize Link to adjust settings like download permissions:
Security Customizations
Depending on how you're sharing the content, click More or Customize Link and switch to the Security tab:

- Allow anyone with the link to view the asset
- Defaults to this
- Restrict who can view the asset
- You'll be prompted to enter the emails or domains that can view the content
- When recipient clicks the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email
- If their email matches, they'll receive a one-time password (OTP) to view the content
- Ask recipient to enter in their email to view the asset
- You'll be prompted to select with OTP or without OTP
- With OTP: When recipient clicks the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email. To verify it's a valid email, they'll receive a one-time password (OTP) to view the content.
- Without OTP: When recipient clicks the link, they'll be prompted to enter their email and immediately view the content
By default, the one-time password (OTP) is sent from support@enablix.com.
Common Question: Which is better, with or without OTP?
Choose with OTP if you want validated emails. Choose without OTP if you want to minimize barriers.
Editing & Disabling Links
Forget to allow download? Accidently share sensitive content with the wrong recipient? Click into the content you want to edit the link for and open Content Insight. From here, switch to the Links tab:
Default Settings (admin & approved contributors only)
When you customize a link - those changes only apply to the link you're about to share. Admins and approved contributors can update the content's Default Settings. This way every time the content is shared, the link will automatically reflect those customizations:
Updating the content's Default Settings only applies to links shared going forward—previously shared links are not affected. To update previously shared links, you will need to edit the links.
