Email addresses can't be updated directly — reach out to us at help@enablix.com and we'll take care of it.

- Choose from the following types:
- Content — Great for displaying individual content, content groups (Content Kits, Engagement Hubs, Microsites), or a Saved Search as a single tile

To disable or re-enable a homepage section, toggle the disable switch to the right of the section name — toggle it again to re-enable.
To add, remove, or organize content within each section:
- Click the four tiles icon to the right of the section name
- Or, from the homepage itself, click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the section
Integrations
You have access to add or authorize the following integrations:
- File Storage — By default, files added to Enablix are stored on Enablix servers. You can optionally store files on a cloud storage provider of your choice.
- WordPress — Enablix can automatically source content from your website. Using a different CMS? Contact your Enablix Customer Success Manager.
- YouTube — Enablix can automatically source content from your YouTube channel.
- Salesforce or HubSpot — Enablix can sync with your CRM (CRM integration module required).
- Slack or Microsoft Teams — Enablix can send automated notifications to a channel of your choice when content is published or updated.
⚠️ After adding or authorizing an integration, contact your Enablix Customer Success Manager or our support team at help@enablix.com to complete setup — adding or authorizing alone does not activate the integration.
Categories & Labels
Organize content by solution, service, and more.
To add a new category:
- Click the + button
- Enter the category's plural and singular name (used for search)
- Optionally, update the color
To add a new label:
- Click the + inside the category you want to add the label to
- Enter the label's full name and short name (used for search)
To edit or delete a category, click the pencil icon to the right of the category.
To edit or delete a label, click the three horizontal bars (Manage Labels).
To export your Categories & Labels, click the document icon — you'll receive the list via email. The export also includes your Content Types and Properties.
To add or remove a label from content:
- Individually — Open the asset you wish to add or remove the label from, click Edit, then in the bottom left-hand side, click the dropdown or the four tiles to the left of the dropdown to select labels to add or remove
- In bulk — In Content Manager > Assets tab, select one or more assets, then click Add (or Remove) Labels, then click the dropdown or the four tiles to the left of the dropdown to select labels to add or remove
Content Types
Organize content by what type of content it is — such as blog, case study, or presentation.
To add a new Content Type:
- Click the + button
- Enter the plural and singular name (used for search)
- If applicable, select whether the Content Type is a Content Kit, Microsite, or Engagement Hub — this cannot be changed later
- Select the default shareable value — this can be overridden when adding individual content
- Set the Verify in Days — how many days before the Content Type is flagged for Verification
To edit or delete a Content Type, use either method:
- By checkbox — Check the box next to the Content Type's name, then click the pencil icon to edit or the trash can icon to delete
- By name — Click the Content Type's name to open it, then edit or delete from there
To configure a Content Type, click Edit, then click the Attributes tab. Here's some things it can support: files, URLs, email messages, Properties.
To export your Content Types, click the document icon — you'll receive the list via email. The export also includes your Categories & Labels and Properties.
To add or change a Content Type:
- When first adding content, you'll be prompted to select a Content Type
- To change a Content Type, hover over the three dots to the right of Share, then select Change Content Type
Properties
Need additional metadata options beyond Categories, Labels, or Content Types? Properties are customizable metadata fields that let you organize content and users further.
For example, if you add content under a Content Type that's intended for images, you could create a Property called Image Type. This way, when you add content to that Content Type, you have the option to select an Image Type — e.g., Logo or Zoom Background — making it easy to filter and find the right image later.
To add a new Property:
- Click the + button
- Enter the plural and singular name (used for search)
- Optionally, check Add property when new Content Type is defined to automatically include this Property when a new Content Type is created
To add values to a Property:
- Click the three horizontal bars next to the Property
- Add your values
To edit or delete a Property:
- Click the pencil icon on the Property row to edit or delete the Property
- Click the three horizontal bars to edit the Property's values
⚠️ Some Properties are system-generated, like accounts, and can't be deleted.
Properties for Content
Properties may look similar to Categories & Labels, but they work differently:
- Categories & Labels — Select from all available Categories and Labels across your portal
- Properties — Select from a specific dropdown of options defined for that Property
- Targeted — Properties can be added only to relevant Content Types (e.g. a "Language" Property applied only to Content Types that support multilingual content)
- Required — Properties can be set as required when adding or editing content
Properties for Enablix User Profiles
Business roles are a type of Property used on Enablix user profiles. They help you organize Enablix users by department — e.g., marketing, sales, customer success. Business roles can be used to sort Enablix users, create Access Groups, and filter reporting in Insights (such as viewing which Enablix users in sales have logged in).
To export your Properties, click the document icon — you'll receive the list via email. The export also includes your Content Types and Categories & Labels.
Access Groups
By default, when you add or edit content saving as Publish, the content is available to all users. Access Groups let you restrict access to select groups of users — such as Admins only or approved Sales users.
❓ Why would I use Access Groups?
Access Groups aren't about hiding content — they're about decluttering the portal so users only see what's relevant to them. As your content library grows across multiple teams, an unfiltered view can make search and browsing harder for everyone. Access Groups keep each team's experience focused, even in an org where everyone's generally trusted to see everything.
To add a new Access Group:
- Click the + button
- Enter the Access Group's name and an optional description
- Click the + button to add access definitions — define who belongs to this group
To edit or delete an Access Group:
- Either check the box next to the Access Group's name and select the pencil icon to edit or the trash can icon to delete, or click the Access Group's name to open it and edit or delete from there
To add or remove an Access Group from content:
- Individually — Open the asset you wish to add or remove the Access Group from, click Edit, then on the left-hand side, click the dropdown to select an Access Group(s)
- In bulk — In Content Manager > Assets tab, select one or more assets, then click Add (or Remove) Access Groups, then click the dropdown to select an Access Group(s)
Company Profile
Manage your Enablix portal's branding. Here you'll find which icons, favicons, and more you can update, where each is used, and the recommended ratio or pixel size.
❓ What's the Secured Share Background?
When users share content and update the link settings to restrict access or gate the link, a solid gray background image is shown by default. Upload a Secured Share Background here to add your own branding instead.
