- Version date
- Description
- Excerpt
- Shareable
- Access
- Collaborators
- Thumbnails

- Properties

Title (required)
If it's being shared externally, the title is visible:

Content Type (required)
What the content is—blog, presentation, video, etc.
To change a content type, hover over the three dots to the right of Share and select Change Content Type:

Admins can manage Content Types in Company Settings > Content Types.
Categories & Labels (recommended)
Organize your content by industry, solution, service, and more:

Admins can manage Categories and Labels from Company Settings > Categories.
Version Date
Defaults to the date you last added or edited the content, but you can manually select a different date.
Search results are displayed by latest version date first:

Description
Internal description—only Enablix users see this.
Excerpt
External description—visible to external recipients when:
- Shared by emailing through Enablix
- Included in a shared Microsite or Engagement Hub
Shareable
Controls sharing options—Externally Shareable or Internal & Confidential.
Access
Published content is accessible to all users by default. Adding access groups (such as 'Admin Only' or 'Approved for Sales') restricts content to specific user groups.
Admins can manage access groups in Company Settings > Access.
Collaborators
Whether content is published or saved as owner's private content, you can add collaborators.
Collaborators can:
- Edit the content (regardless of their system role permissions)
- Receive email notifications when the content is updated or deleted
- Access private content that would otherwise only be visible to the owner and admins
Thumbnails
When content is added, Enablix automatically generates a thumbnail. However, a thumbnail cannot be generated in some cases (such as unsupported file types or URLs that don't allow embedding). You can upload a custom thumbnail in the Thumbnail field.
Thumbnails are visible when:
- Shared by emailing through Enablix
- Included in a shared Microsite or Engagement Hub
Recommended thumbnail size: 360x200 pixels.
For MP4s, you have an additional option: click Select Video Thumbnail to choose a frame from the video as your thumbnail:

Owner
Defaults to the user who added the content.
To change the owner, hover over the three dots to the right of Share and select Change Owner:

Properties
Need more organization options? Properties are customizable metadata fields that let you organize content beyond our standard options:

Admins can manage Properties in Company Settings > Properties tab.
