Sharing Content Externally
Share content with your accounts. When you share content externally, a trackable link is shared that captures which accounts viewed it, how long they viewed it for, and whether they downloaded it (if applicable).
💡 You can update the link settings, including download permissions, access restrictions, and more.
Copy External Link
- Access the content you wish to share
- Hover over Share
- Click Copy External Link
- Enter who you're sharing with for tracking purposes:
- Sharing with one recipient? In Recipient ID, enter their name or email
- Sharing with multiple recipients? In Account, enter their account name
- Paste the link wherever you communicate with your account
❓ What happens if I don't enter who I'm sharing with?
Enablix will still track that your content was viewed, but since we won't know who you shared it with, you'll see something like "Someone from [Location]" instead of "Amy Rhodes from Bank of America."
💡 If you haven't connected your email yet, you can do so here. Be sure to also add your email signature in your user profile.
- Access the content you wish to share
- Hover over Share
- Click Email Internally
- Add recipient emails, a subject, and compose your email
- (Optional) Preview your email
- Save it as a draft if you're not ready to send, or send it
Finding your drafts and sent emails:
- Drafts — Go back to Share > Email on any content
- Sent emails — Go to My Stuff in the left-hand navigation bar, Email Activity tab, or your email's Sent folder
Present
- Access the content you wish to share
- Hover over Share
- Click Present
- Enter who you're presenting to, for tracking purposes:
- Presenting to one contact? In Recipient ID, enter their name or email
- Presenting to multiple contacts? In Account, enter their account's name
- Prefer not to track? Select Do Not Track instead
- Click Present
❓ Why would I use Present?
Present displays the content directly from Enablix, hiding metadata like Content Type, Category, and Labels from the left-hand side — so your audience can focus on the content itself, without distraction. Since you're presenting straight from Enablix, you're always working from the most up-to-date version of the content.
Extensions
Sharing doesn't have to stay in Enablix. You can share content from the tools you already work in — no need to switch tabs or copy links back and forth.
- Email app: Gmail and Outlook
- Browser extension: Chrome (works with Edge)
- Social media: LinkedIn
- CRM or marketing tools: Salesforce and HubSpot
- Sales engagement app: Gong, Salesloft, Outreach
Some extensions are native integrations, while others work through platform-specific sharing links.
